Through a friend I came across the website Makes Me Think, a site similar in set-up to FML, but then in a much more positive settings. Instead of complaining about something that happened in life, Makes Me Think focuses on the amazing things happening in life, things that makes you think. A certain bird flying past on an anniversary, a sweet good deed from a homeless person, a thoughtful little present from a friend just at the right moment. If you’re feeling down and need a quick pick me up in life, go to the random stories page of Makes Me Think. I can’t guarantee you don’t need tissues, but it will make you feel good about all the good in the world, but also makes you think about how much worse your life could be.
