Batkid – Make-a-Wish-Foundation

The Make-a-Wish-Foundation did it again: they made a boy’s wish come true. And not in a small way, but in a huge way. Read the full story here on Mashable, and make sure you have some tissues nearby…

‘Miles (5) has leukemia, and his fondest wish was to be Batman for a day. The Make-a-Wish Foundation obliged, setting up several scenarios around San Francisco involving two of Gotham’s greatest enemies, The Penguin and The Riddler. At last count nearly 15,000 San Franciscans had signed up online to play the grateful onlookers.’

See on Mashable what happened next. And if you click on over here and here, you can see that even the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI and the President of the United States have thanked the Batkid for his courageous efforts in making Gotham safe again.
